The University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) in collaboration with Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) and Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) is leading the implementation of a research project entitled: “Promoting Adaptive Management for Agricultural Water to Enhance Community Resilience Under Climate Change in the Kagera River Sub-Basin” The project’s general objective is to develop a framework that will promote adaptive management for agricultural water to enhance community resilience under climate change in the Kagera River sub-basin. The UDSM, TARI and SUA research project partnership invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to be offered two (2) Masters partial scholarships in academic year 2024/2025 at UDSM and SUA. These scholarships opportunities are generously funded by the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH). The selected candidates will join a research project team from UDSM, TARI and SUA to enhance the resilience of agricultural systems in response to dynamic climate conditions and impacts while ensuring adaptive engagement of local communities.
