APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF CORPORATE COUNSEL AND SECRETARY TO COUNCIL

The University of Dar es Salaam wishes to inform members of the University community and the public that the University Council has appointed Dr. Daniel Msafiri Shayo as Chief Corporate Counsel and Secretary to the Council (CCC & STC) of the University of Dar es Salaam for the 2026/2027 - 2028/2029 triennium retrospectively from 1st March 2026. Dr. Shayo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economic Law at the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law. He holds a Doctor of Laws (Dr. jur) and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Universität Konstanz, as well as an LL.M and LL.B degrees from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is a practicing advocate and a member of the Tanganyika Law Society and the East African Law Society.
