Research Interest

My research interests focus on climate communication and the blue economy, with particular attention to how digital media shape climate narratives, public awareness, and community engagement around marine and coastal resources. I am especially interested in examining how digital platforms influence public understanding, policy debates, and governance related to climate risks, sustainable fisheries, coastal livelihoods, and ocean conservation in Africa. My work explores the role of media framing, digital activism, and online citizen participation in promoting climate resilience, environmental justice, and sustainable blue economy practices. Through this research, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of how communication and digital technologies can support informed public discourse, inclusive governance, and sustainable development in the context of climate change.
