Peter Protas Atanas is Laboratory Assistant II Working at University of Dar es salaam , College of Engineering and Technology , Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering. He serves a role in performing task related to student's practicals, and projects at Textile Laboratory.

Mr Peter began his education at Kunduchi Primary School and continue to Kondo Secondary school for his Secondary studies. He pursued technical Education at Arusha Technical College, Earning National Vocational Awards in Laboratory Assistant Levels II and III.

 Mr Peter Protas Atanas began his professional journey at Mtibwa Sugar Estate Limited (Morogoro), where he worked as Laboratory Analyst from July 2022 to may 2025. In this role he gained hands -on experience in quality control and managing laboratory activities.
