MSc. with Education (MSc. Ed)

Programme Requirements

For a candidate to be awarded a MSc with Education, he/she must earn a minimum of 180 credits of which a minimum of 120 credits are from coursework and 60 credits from the dissertation. Students will be compelled to do a minimum of 60 credits per semester. The dissertation part will be 60 credits in respective departments.

PhD Environmental Science

Applicants to be admitted in this programme should have appropriate and advanced knowledge and skills in science subjects (Biological sciences or physical sciences or Mathematics or Environmental Engineering). The students should possess Master’s Degree in Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management, or an equivalent master degree from a recognised higher learning institution.

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) - Evening

The programme is offered during evening hours from 5.00 pm as well as weekends (Saturdays). This Programme is aimed at those who intend to work or are already working in the education sector and wish to enhance their career prospects in the teaching profession. The programme provides a flexible route to earn teaching profession qualification and allows candidates to combine work and study. The programme leads to certification in the teaching profession equivalent to a degree level qualification in education.
