Innocent J. Lugendo (PhD) is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics. Currently he is the Manager of the Central Science Workshop (CSW) of the College of Natural and Applied Sciences (CoNAS) at the University of Dar es Salaam. He holds an MSc and a PhD in Physics specializing in Nuclear Physics.
His research interest revolves around Nuclear Structure studies, Environmental Nuclear Physics, Radiation Detectors and Radiological Studies. He also works in various other fields including Medical Physics, Dosimetry and Radiation Medical Imaging. From these areas of research, he is supervising several Masters and PhD theses/Dissertations and has published a number of scientific papers in Local and International journals.
