Chang’ombe Demonstration English Medium Pre-school is among of the three demonstration schools owned by DUCE. The school operates under the Faculty of Education since 2005.

About the School:
The school has three classes, which are Green, Yellow and Blue. The Green and Yellow classes comprise of children aged six years. These children stay at school for one year. The Blue class is for children who are five years old. These stay at school for two years.
Enrolment
In order to be enrolled, a child has to do a simple interview. Children who are at the age of six years do a reading and writing interview while those who are at the age of five years do an oral interview.
Organization Structure of the School and Human Resource
At the top of the school’s organization structure, there is a head of school who has the overall responsibility of managing the school. Below him in the hierarchy, there is an assistant head of school followed by an academic teacher. Then, there are teachers and non-teaching staff members.
Pre-School Teachers’ Biographies
Salama Mtangoo
She is the Head Teacher of Chang’ombe Demonstration Pre-school since 2018. She is also a teacher of the Blue Class. She teaches environmental cleanliness how to to communicate, and how to relate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Education from St. John’s University of Tanzania, a Diploma in Educational management from ADEM and a certificate of Teaching from Korogwe Teacher’s College, Korogwe,Tanga.
Ashura Mkwizu
She is the Assistant headteacher of Chang’ombe Demonstration Pre-school. She teaches communication competence, how to relate, and environmental cleanliness in the Yellow Class.She is a holder of a Diploma in Primary education from the Open University of Tanzania, a Certificate of Teaching from Butimba Teachers College, Mwanza. Currently she pursuing a bachelor degree in Education at the Open university of Tanzania.
Mariam K.Rufunga
She is an Academic teacher at Chang’ombe Demonstration Pre–school. She is a teacher of the Blue class. She teaches Health care, how to use mathematical concepts, and Artistic competence. She holds a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Dodoma, a Diploma in Primary Education from the Open University of Tanzania and a certificate of teaching from Kitangali Teachers college, Mtwara.
Advella C.Magayane
She is a teacher of the Green Class at Chang’ombe Demonstration Pre-school. She teaches Health care, artistic competence and how the use of mathematical concepts. She holds a Bachelor degree in education from the Open University of Tanzania and a certificate of teaching from Morogoro Teachers College.
Zubeda H.Idd
She is a teacher of the Green Class at Chang’ombe Demonstration Pre-school. She teaches communication competence, how to relate, and environmental cleanliness. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from St. Mary’s College of Education and a certificate of teaching from the Same College.
Esther S.Kazimoto
She is a teacher of the Yellow Class at Chang’ombe Demonstration Pre-school. She teaches Health care, how to use Mathematical concepts, and artistic competence. She holds a Diploma in Primary education from Mount Sina Teachers College, a certificate of teaching from Kleruu Teachers College in Iringa and a certificate of early childhood education from Mpwapwa Teachers College and Agakhan University.
