New classrooms for Changombe Secondary School trigger academic achievement
On February 20th, 2024, the Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Hon. Albert Chalamila, visited the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) to observe the ongoing construction of classrooms and toilets for Chang'ombe Demonstration Secondary School. Hon. Chalamila applauded DUCE for its dedicated efforts in constructing new classrooms and toilets for Chang'ombe Demonstration Secondary School. The new classrooms help to outshine academic achievement at school and bringing stiff competition among Temeke schools.
Best students and teachers of Changombe Primary Schools awarded
On February 12th, 2024, the College Management conducted a special awarding ceremony to students and teachers of Chang’ombe Primary School for better performance in the FTNA. Chang’ombe Chang’ombe Primary School run by DUCE were among of schools with outstanding performance.
Progress of Changombe English Medium Pre-school
Chang’ombe English Medium Pre-school is a school of its own kind. It plays a model for teaching and learning for children in their early days of academic development. The school has also continued to offer its best in sports and games under close supervision.
Role of parents-teachers’ meetings
Parents and teachers conduct meetings to share school plans and promote supportive teaching and learning environment. Parents have been supporting strategies decided by the Management, including employing qualified and hardworking staff, developing infrastructure, building new classrooms, toilets and offices. Recently, there has been a lot of changes over past years that have mapped the school among the best schools in the district.
