Alfa Michael Chipalo currently serves as a Library Assistant II at the University of Dar es Salaam within the Directorate of Library Services (DLS). He has been an integral part of the University since 2018 to the present. Alfa holds a Diploma in Library and Information Studies, which he obtained in 2018 from the School of Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies, and a Certificate in Library and Information Studies from the same institution in 2017.

His professional expertise encompasses various aspects of library management, including cataloging of library materials, shelving and shelf reading, digitization, and records management.
