Yusta Said Mlele became a part of the University of Dar es Salaam in 2018 as a Library Assistant II within the Directorate of Library Services (DLS). Yusta has been actively contributing to the University of Dar es Salaam since 2018 to the present. She obtained a Diploma in Library and Information Studies in 2018 from the School of Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies, complemented by a Certificate in Library and Information Studies in 2017 from the same institution, the School of Library, Archives, and Documentation Studies (SLADS).

Her expertise lies in the organization of information materials, both electronic and print, as well as in digitization, shelving, shelf reading, and records management. Yusta Said Mlele's proficiency in these areas enhances the efficiency of the Directorate of Library Services at the University of Dar es Salaam.
