Chrispin Makemo Malegesi currently serves as a Library Assistant I within the Directorate of Library Services (DLS) at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), a position he has held since 1990 to date. Malegesi is a proud alumnus of the University of Dar es Salaam, having graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2009. His educational journey also includes earning a National Diploma in Materials Management from the National Board of Materials Management. Additionally, he holds a National Diploma in Materials Management from 1993, obtained from the National Board of Materials Management (NBMM) and an Accounting Technician Certificate obtained in 2016 from the National Board of Accountancy and Auditors (NBAA).

Within the Directorate, Malegesi's responsibilities including the organization of library materials, providing customer care services, shelving, shelf-reading, and offering photocopy services.
