On April 20th, 2024, Chang'ombe Demonstration Secondary School held its 16th Form Six graduation ceremony at the College campus. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Ali Bananga, serving as the CCM Ideology and Publicity Secretary in Dar es Salaam.

Other distinguished delegates who attended the event include the Chairman of the parents and teachers association, Mr. Ismail Rushanshumwa, the Acting Dean-Faculty of Education, Dr. Frolence Kyaruzi, the Coordinator of the Demonstration Schools, Dr. Mabula Nkuba, CCM Chairperson of Miburani Ward, Ms. Gaudensia Mfuko and few staff from neighboring schools.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Bananga congratulated the school management for their meticulous preparation of the Form Six graduation ceremony. Additionally, he asked teachers to keep moulding students to become good leaders in the near future. Furthermore, he encouraged students to continue working hard in order to eradicate Division Four in their final examinations. He also urged Form Six students to decide the kind of life they would like, as a good life is within their reach. On the other hand, parents were encouraged to actively engage in initiatives contributing to the school's progress.

Prior to Mr. Bananga’s remarks, the Headmistress of Chang'ombe Secondary School, Ms. Zahra Mustapha, congratulated the graduates for their perseverance, as only 79 out of 84 students managed to graduate. She further applauded their outstanding performance in the Form Six mock examinations conducted in Dar es Salaam. Ms. Mustapha highlighted the significance of this achievement, noting that many students had scored Division I, II, and III.
