The finalist football team commonly ‘the samba Boys’ clinched the victory in the DARUSO league 2023/24 after scoring a 5 - 4 penalty shootout against the DUCE staff football team. This competition took place recently at Gwambina sports lounge.
The intense and competitive penalty shootout materialised after the two teams concluding with 2:2 goal scoreline.
In recognition of their achievement, the Samba Boys were honoured with financial rewards and a well-deserved trophy.
The DARUSO-DUCE President, Mr. Rogattte Ombay commended the Samba Boys for the victory despite facing a very strong opposition.
