The University of Dar es Salaam School of Law organised a Career Fair on the 9th of June, 2023. This Fair was intended to prepare our students to enter the different markets after graduation.

The main theme for the day was "Global Trends and their Impact on Law and Practice." Among other things, we had a panel presentation moderated by Dr Goodluck Temu and Dr Veronica Buchumi. The presenters were Mr William Oelofse from ALN Tanzania, who focused on Forensic and Cyber Issues in Legal Practice, Dr Filbert Nicksoni, who presented on Cyber Sex Trafficking, Dr FAyaz Bojan from FB Attorneys, who presented on Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on Laywering, and Ms Angelista Nashon, who touched on soft skills for lawyers. 

We were privileged to have Mr Harold Sungusia, the President of Tanganyika Law Society as our guest speaker. The University's Deputy Vice Chancellor-Academic, Prof Bonaventure Rutinwa, was also in attendance. 

Students who performed exceptionally received prizes from sponsoring law firms, including ALN Tanzania, Law Hill Advocates, FB Attorneys, and ABC Attorneys. Other awards came from the Dean and Mr Abdallah Gonzi.
